Montgomery County Lodge No. 14,
Fraternal Order of Police, is pleased to announce the annual Memorial
Scholarship Fund Award for 2012.
The award will be presented in
the memory of the late members of our Lodge that have contributed to the
causes and beliefs supported and perpetuated by our fraternal
organization.
The criteria for application
and consideration for the scholarship awards are as follows:
1) The applicant must be a
dependent of an active or retired member of Lodge 14, Montgomery County,
Fraternal Order of Police;
2) Must be a candidate for
graduation from high school in the spring term of the current
application year;
3) Must be intending to attend or
to have been accepted to an institution of higher learning, to include
trade schools, colleges, universities, junior and community colleges,
and to attend such institutions on a full-time basis.
One or more scholarships in the
amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) will be awarded. Several other
monetary amounts will also be awarded depending on the amount of
Scholarship money donated. This will be determined by the Scholarship
committee.
